Congratulations to Spencer Moavenzadeh and co-authors for publishing this work, evaluating the reliabilty of 3D ARFI and multiparametric ultrasound imaging in prostate cancer screening compared to mpMRI, which is the current clinical standard. They found that mpUS was more sensitive to lesion detection for more aggressive lesions than mpMRI, suggesting future potential in accessible and affordable image-guided biopsy targeting.
