The Nightingale lab hosted visiting scholar Ariana Cihan from Ghent University. Ariana's research focus is in poroelastic and anisotropic material characterization. She developed an experimental setup involving our robot-controlled 3D-RSWEI system here at Duke to measure shear wave speed in tissues-of-interest! Apart from her work she spent her time sharing extremely useful insights in biomechanics, and exploring Durham.
We wish her the best in all of her future endeavors!
